ピノ・ノワール種を用いたワインが有名なサンタ・ローザにて1997年に創業。
入手が難しく、日本だと無名ですが全世界的に名高い醸造所です。

ラシアンリヴァーではPliny The Elder Imperial IPAが
全米ビール・ランキング　ダブルIPA部門１位になっており
Ratebeerでも95点以下のビールが殆ど見られません。
ビアマニア必飲といえるでしょう。

In 1997, Russian River Brewing Company was founded by
Korbel Champagne Cellars in Guerneville , California .
Vinnie Cilurzo was hired as the Brewmaster.
At the Great American Beer Festival in 1999,
RRBC and Vinnie were awarded "Small Brewing Company of the Year" and
"Small Brewing Company Brewmaster of the Year".
In 2002, Korbel decided to leave the beer business and sold the brewery to
Vinnie and his wife, Natalie. Now located in Santa Rosa , California
